To tackle the challenges of fraud, liability, and lengthy verification processes, I designed a secure and intuitive web and mobile app that streamlines customer verification for financial institutions.
Built for a pilot program, this solution leverages cutting-edge decentralized identity technology to create a seamless privacy-focused verification experience.

Launching this MVP not only enabled the Sales team to engage potential B2B partners effectively but also opened doors to expanding the solution into new sectors like education & hospitality.
A closer look at my contribution
I design with technical constraints in mind, not just user and business needs. Deepening my knowledge of decentralized identity on this project fostered closer collaboration with engineers throughout development.
Web portal for bank employees to search for customers and request credentials.
Customers respond to requests to verify their identity in a matter of seconds via a mobile app.
Bank employees receive credentials and can confidently proceed with a customer's needs.

Creators want to connect with audiences beyond their native language, but translation and dubbing can be slow, expensive, and inaccessible.
As the first designer on this early-stage startup, I helped create a web app that uses AI to make translating and dubbing content smarter, faster, and more affordable.

Helping parents shape how their children experience loss
Personal project
0 -> 1 design

B2C
Many parents wish they could pass on more memories to their children, often because they received too few from past generations. I set out to make that easier and more meaningful.
One key feature, Future Messages, enables parents to record videos that will be shared on a pre-scheduled date, ensuring their presence is felt even if they can’t be there in person.

In confronting the universal realities of death and grief, I uncovered better ways for parents to preserve their stories, pass on their values, and provide comfort that transcends time.
A closer look at my contribution
This project grew from the loss of my parents as I became one myself, and my research revealed that others share this complex emotional reality. That understanding solidified the project’s purpose: to bring comfort to parents, and their children, by keeping memories alive.

I’ve spent the last 20 years in pursuit of exploration: across places, experiences, and ideas. I grew up in Chicago, now live in Salt Lake City, and have called both coasts home while studying computer animation at Syracuse University and history at UCLA. Along the way, I’ve lived and traveled through 45 countries across Europe and Asia, chasing perspective, growth, and good stories.
That same curiosity has shaped my career. I’ve imported antiques from Europe and wholesaled them in California. I’ve produced a couple of films that landed on Netflix (this + this too), flown drones commercially, worked as a graphic and web designer, and even spent time in the code. Design is where all of that comes together: storytelling, systems thinking, and craft aligned to solve real problems with lasting impact.
In addition to my family and building thoughtful digital experiences, I can talk endlessly about travel, business, real estate, and tech.
