I'm...
a husband.
a girl dad.
a product designer.
a lifelong learner.
an entrepreneur.
a furniture Tetris master.
a world traveler.
an adrenaline junkie.
a fitted sheet folder.
a drone pilot.
I’m looking to leverage my multifaceted experiences and business acumen to serve users of digital products through design and collaboration with thoughtful user-centric teams.
In addition to my family and serving others through design, I can talk all day about travel, business, real estate, and tech.
-
I’ve reinvented myself many times in an attempt to grow as a person and continually search for what brings me happiness. While my path always felt random, I now see that UX is the purpose I’ve been searching for to marry my interests and utilize my skills in an attempt to bring happiness to others.
-
I recently became a (girl) dad and it’s one of the motivations for my transition to UX. Serving others to make an impact on their lives is a fulfilling ambition that I’m continually working toward with my family, and with my career as a product designer.

I’ve spent the last 20 years exploring.
I currently live in Salt Lake City but I grew up in Chicago.
I attended college on both coasts, for computer animation at Syracuse University and history at UCLA.
I’ve lived in and traveled around Europe and Asia, having the opportunity to experience 45 countries (and counting).
-
I’ve imported antiques from Europe and wholesaled them in California.
Ex-filmmaker, including producing a couple of movies that are on Netflix.
I consumed the entrepreneurial pill as a graphic + web designer, the co-founder of a clothing brand aimed at spreading positivity, and a drone pilot.
I’ve done some UX continuing education with Designlab to refine my skills and stay up to date on best practices.
I’m looking to leverage these experiences as a supportive member of a thoughtful design team aimed at serving its users. -
I’ve always enjoyed thrilling experiences. I’ve gone skydiving multiple times, I love roller coasters and have flown in an Extra 300L stunt plane. LINK
Bucketlist items include cage diving with great white sharks in South Africa, climbing Mt. Everest (or at least Mt. Kilimanjaro), and running with the bulls in Pamplona.
-
I can fall asleep anywhere and I’ve woken up to people on planes, trains, and buses asking me how I do it so quickly.
I’m not great at learning languages, despite repeated attempts with Spanish, Hebrew, Chinese - Mandarin, and forgetting Polish.
I can recite Rapper’s Delight. Not Sugarhill Gang's original 14:35 long version, but Def Squad’s remix. LINK
If I could have any superpower, it would be time travel because I believe the secret to life is timing (think about it).
While 99% of people I ask don’t want to live forever, I do and believe it will be possible soon with the help of AI, robotics, and nanotechnology. LINK
